The police appealed for help,and 2 men are now in custody, arrested on suspicion of rape.

Yesterday we asked for your help in identifying an individual we wanted to speak to as part of our investigation into the reported rape of a man in his 20s in Preston last weekend.

Last night a 34-year-old man from Preston was arrested on suspicion of rape. He remains in custody at this time.

This morning (October 8) a 27-year-old man from Preston was also arrested on suspicion of rape. He too remains in custody at this time.
