Watch Out For Dynamic Duo As They ‘Rock On’ In Lytham This Saturday To Boost Statue Fund

Keep your eyes peeled and watch out this coming Saturday (27th March) in Lytham for two Bobby Ball look-alikes!  Jane Dean and her partner Sean Lester will be circling The Green between 12.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. – hoping to raise awareness of the Bobby Ball Foundation and raise a generous amount for the appeal.

The dynamic duo, Jane and Sean, have been running and cycling throughout this month, already racking up over 200km, to raise awareness of the appeal to build a statue of comedy legend in Lytham’s Lowther Gardens – and now plan to boost the collection on Saturday through a bucket collection.

Jane is a popular entertainer and talented singer, performing at venues in America as well as across the UK, and she was truly overjoyed to meet Bobby several times, ‘Bobby was such a lovely man and so much missed. The statue is a wonderful idea and we hope we can raise a good amount towards it. Sean and I have been going out every day after work and at weekends running and cycling and raising awareness of the fund by posting videos. We have been delighted with the response and hope to collect a good amount on Saturday.’

Jane and Sean are sure to stand out as they will be dressed up as Bobby at the height of his TV fame,  complete with black curly hair and the trademark red braces.  As an added bonus, they plan to be accompanied by a unicyclist!

Lytham St. Anne’s wish Jane and Sean all the best for their initiative this Saturday!
