There is a weather warning for Lytham residents who may be travelling to the North and West of our town after their weekend break.  The Yellow Weather warning, in place from Midnight tonight through tomorrow morning, comes courtesy of the Met Office.

The Met Office has cautioned, ‘Rain and snow will move Eastwards, with ice likely to bring some travel disruption.’  The advice continues, ‘Roads and railways may be affected.’

The Met Office also says that dangerous conditions may spread to other areas that are not currently shaded yellow and recommends that drivers should take extra care.  Additionally, care should be taken on pavements tomorrow as slips and falls on untreated surfaces could result in injuries.  A tumble on a slippery pathway is certainly not the best start the week!  Take care.
