Weed Clearing From Fairhaven & Granny’s Bay Sea Defences Starts Next Week

A spokesperson for Fylde Council has said that from Tuesday 2nd May work will commence clearing the weeds from the new sea defences at Fairhaven and Granny’s Bay. The Council will be also working to clear the debris from the lower steps and the beach.

  1. If only Sefton Council would do the same on Southport beach – it certainly would improve the chances of it returning to Englands Classic Resort – I don’t think I’ll hold me breath waiting though!
