Trick or treating has become increasingly popular in Lytham St. Anne’s over the past years. Whilst some truly enjoy this spooky festival – others truly despise this progressively commercialised annual event.  As October is here, and supermarket shelves are now displaying a wealth of Halloween themed items, the big question is should Halloween Trick and Treating be banned this year?

In response to enquiries, the Government has said that it will provide guidance in due course but with local restrictions in place across Lancashire, the local Halloween customs may not go ahead as in previous years. The Department of Health and Social Care has announced that people and businesses will need to comply with regulations that apply nationally and any specific local guidance.
