A fifty-year-old woman, named as Karen Taylor, has sadly died in hospital having reportedly fallen down stairs at Dalvi’s Restaurant in Breck Road, Poulton on Friday 23rd February.
Ambulance crews were called to the restaurant as Mrs Taylor, who was a well respected and popular colleague at the local Booth’s store, had suffered severe injuries. She was taken by ambulance to the critical care unit at Royal Preston Hospital for urgent treatment. Sadly, she was unable to recover from her injuries and has since died in hospital
An inquest into Karen Taylor’s death will take place at Preston Coroner’s Court on 30th May.
