The acclaimed Caribbean Restaurant & Bar chain, Turtle Bay, will open up a brand new themed venue on Talbot Square in Blackpool later this year. Their opening will be timed just in time for the summer season, with their signature offerings including Caribbean-inspired soul food, rum cocktails and laid-back reggae beats all on the menu!

Local customers can expect a warm welcome in Turtle Bay’s awesome beach-shack style interior which will create a new island-inspired hideaway in Blackpool. A delicious day-to-night menu will be served starting with Turtle Bay’s Caribbean brunch, taking in lunch, small plates, and dinner as well as the brand’s famous tropical cocktail menu and late-night bites.

There will also be a large selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes as well as sharing and grazing plates. Turtle Bay’s well known bottomless brunch will also be served up daily and will involve two hours of unlimited Caribbean-inspired cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe, and prosecco.

Nick Crossley, CEO at Turtle Bay, commented: ‘We’re excited to announce that we’re coming to Blackpool! We’ve been working together with the council for some time and are delighted to confirm that we are bringing our Caribbean good times to Blackpool’s iconic promenade. We’re looking forward to sharing more news and updates soon and can’t wait to open our doors.’

Councillor Lynn Williams, Leader of Blackpool Council, said: ‘ This represents another top-class acquisition for Blackpool’s tourism and hospitality sector. It brings a unique offer that will appeal to residents and visitors, and adds another dimension to Blackpool’s ever-improving food and drink offer. We are pleased to have been able to help facilitate this investment in what is a landmark location in the heart of Blackpool. Supporting new and existing businesses is a key element in our resort regeneration plans.”

Darren Oxley, Development Director of The Brook Group, owners of the Forshaw Hotel, said: ‘Turtle Bay are the first tenant in the repurposed lower floors of The Forshaw’s Hotel following significant investment, and continues our relationship with them, being a tenant in one of our Sheffield properties. We are now looking to secure other tenants for the remaining units, to re-establish the venue as a leisure destination in the Talbot Square and Promenade area of the town. Turtle Bay Blackpool is also looking for people to join Turtle Bay with a range of positions available both front and back of house. If this is of interest, keep an eye out on the Turtle Bay website for more information closer to the time.’
