A popular takeaway in St Annes called Nom Nom has hit the ground running after lockdown chaos. The family owned takeaway has been open just under 3 months, providing locals with incredible fresh-cooked food at lunchtime daily – a God send for those who work in St Annes.
Nom Nom is situated on Wood Street, open daily from 7.30am for breakfast, through to 3pm for lunch. All food is freshly prepped by staff in house, and its first come first served as the delicious treats sell out fast. They are known in Lytham St Annes for their mouth-watering brownies, which they also prepare for wholesale. They also specialise in rice boxes, protein boxes, salad boxes, wraps and noodles.
Darren Trott, the owner of the business said “We serve restaurant quality food at takeaway prices”. With locals ordering from restaurants throughout lockdown, continuing to pay restaurant prices, it is brilliant to see quality food with a reasonable price tag!

This fantastic move brings food from around the world to locals every Friday evening! In previous weeks they have served food from countries such as Jamaica, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Italy and this week by popular request – America. The menus consist of a 3 course meal (starter, main and dessert), with veggie, vegan and gluten free options available. The chosen country will be announced by Sunday evening each week.
Darren lived in Spain for years and cooked food from around the world as part of a business venture over there, the popularity of the menus he created and cooked gave him the idea to create a similar concept when he moved back to Lytham St Annes.
Darren and his daughter, Nellie May, who work together daily at Nom Nom are excited to welcome new customers through the door and share their cultural dishes with Lytham St Annes Locals.
The takeaway is open 5pm to 7pm on Friday, with a delivery service offered within Lytham St Annes only, for £3 per delivery. The set menu is priced at £11.50.
The takeaway do not accept walk-ins for supper club, so if you are hoping to order, please book ahead of Thursday night as popularity of the venue means the food goes fast.
