Aldi has launched lucky ‘magic bags’ containing £10 of groceries for £3.30. The supermarket chain has teamed up with food waste rescuers ‘Too Good To Go’ to tackle food waste and help shoppers save. For just £3.30 Aldi customers can buy unsold Aldi food which is worth at least £10.
Aldi say, ‘In your Aldi x Too Good To Go ‘Magic Bag’, you can expect quality food that would otherwise go to waste. Each bag is a surprise but could contain anything from fruit, vegetables, dairy products, meats, snacks and more for a fraction of the retail price.’
Sophie Trueman, Managing Director of Too Good To Go UK and Ireland, said, ‘We’re thrilled to be rolling out our partnership with Aldi nationally. Having already had fantastic feedback during a successful trial period, I know our Too Good To Go community is going to jump at the chance to save Magic Bags from their local Aldi and prevent even more good food from going to waste.’
