HM COASTGUARD LYTHAM had 2 callouts in quick succession this afternoon 👇👇

❗Emergency call out x2❗(May 19)

We’re were called out twice in quick succession this afternoon, our first emergency call came through at 15.17 to reports of a missing child on St Anne’s Beach. After a search of the beach the child was fortunately located safe and well by a PCSO from Fylde Police.

Our second emergency call out came through just 8 minutes after, at 15.25 to reports of a vulnerable person in the South Shore area.
With the assistance from HM Coastguard Fleetwood, Blackpool Police & Blackpool Beach Patrol, the incident was resolved safely.

People are urged to call 9️⃣9️⃣9️⃣ & ask for the Coastguard if you see a coastal emergency!🆘️
