Blackpool’s driving test centre will close down in March – with a temporary move to Kirkham. It has been announced that the centre at Warbreck House on Warbreck Hill Road will close down on 30th March, 2023.
Peter Hearn, DVSA’s director of operations, said: ‘ DVSA’s priority is to help everyone through a lifetime of safe driving. DVSA was served notice by the landlord, and as a result the driving test centre will close in March. Driving tests will temporarily move to Kirkham after March, but DVSA is committed to finding a new permanent site for a driving test centre in Blackpool.’
This comes after the closure of Blackpool’s theory test site back in September 2022. Learners were then asked to travel to Preston.
