In aid of the mental health charity, Mind, local lettings agent Intus Lettings, based at 4 The Crescent, will be hosting a Festive Fundraiser next month.

The fundraiser will be held on Friday 2nd of December and will feature a selection of treats on offer for those who attend, including festive favourites such as mulled wine, bucks fizz and mince pies.

There will also be a selection of gifts to purchase and/or win in a raffle, many of which will be provided by numerous companies within the Lytham St Anne’s area. All proceeds will go directly to Mind.

The fundraiser follows on from a highly successful Macmillan Coffee Morning hosted in the area last year in which £650 was raised in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Hope McKendrick, Lettings Director at Intus Lettings, had this to say regarding the event; ‘After such a successful day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support last year, we’re delighted to be hosting another charity event, this time in aid of Mind.

The work that Mind carries out is nothing short of incredible, and it is a charity near and dear to many within our team.

The winter months in particular can be tough for those who struggle with their mental health, so we hope to be able to raise as much money as possible for such an important cause.’

For over 60 years, Mind has worked to improve the lives of all people who experience mental health problems, providing advice and support to empower anyone who needs their help. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
