A vital part of the Lytham Community has, been affected by Covid.
Crofts, a stalwart of Warton Street, has been a newsagents for many years, and in the last few years taken over the Post Office service after Bamforths closed down. Crofts is highly respected by locals and businesses alike, often attributed to their exceptional customer service. Well wishers have flooded a local Facebook with heartwarming get well soon messages, after the lady owner, Elaine Croft, published this statement earlier this morning.
She wrote – unfortunately because a member of staff has tested positive for covid we have had no alternative other than to close our post office & newsagent on Warton street.our priority is to make sure that our staff and customers are kept safe and we will follow government guidelines in this respect.we can’t apologise enough for the inconvenience we know this will cause.stay safe.Tony & Elaine.x
