Can You Identify This Man Following Unprovoked Assault In Blackpool?

Lancashire Police want to speak to this man following an unprovoked assault in Blackpool, which occurred at around 6.30 p.m. on May 27th on Corporation Street.

The victim – a man aged in his 30s – was walking along the road with his mother when a man who had just left a nearby nightclub shouted something to him. As the victim turned round the offender punched him to the face, knocking him over.

He then made off towards the Promenade.

The victim suffered damage to his jaw bone, swelling to the left-hand side of his face and bruising and swelling to the right-hand side of his body from where he fell over.

Police have followed several lines of enquiry but have been unable to identify the offender and would now like to speak to the man in the featured image. If you recognise him, think you may have seen him, or have any other information about the assault, please let Lancashire Police know.

T/Sgt Nick Ward said: ‘The victim suffered nasty injuries as a result of what was a completely unprovoked incident. We would now like to speak to this man as part of our investigation and would urge anybody who recognises him to get in touch.’
