As some residents are worried about the state of Lytham Green following this year’s Festival, Fylde Council have sought to reassure those concerned by saying ‘Cuffe and Taylor, as part of the agreement for Lytham Festival, are making sure the green is once again returned to its former glory as it was pre-festival.’

Among the many remarks on this issue one commentator wrote, ‘Taking their time about it…….’ whilst another said ‘It wasn’t that great before!’ and another wrote, ‘You would think the grass was like a crown green and not 60% weeds, The way people get upset!’

Hopefully, as the Council say, the Green will soon be restored to ‘its former glory’!
