Head Thanks Colleagues & School Community Following AKS Lytham’s Inspection

The Independent Schools Inspectorate have reported their findings following a progress monitoring visit to AKS Lytham. The report says that the school fully met the requirements of the visit, which comprised these five areas:

  • Safeguarding policy
  • Safeguarding implementation
  • Suitability of staff, supply staff and proprietors
  • Provision of information
  • Quality of leadership and management

The Headmaster David Harrow said, ‘I am pleased to share that this inspection went very well, and that you can read the report on our website at https://www.akslytham.com/about-us/inspection-reports

This inspection rounds off a remarkable three in one year, and confirms our school’s status as ‘Excellent’ for the whole school ISI and ‘Outstanding’ for Ofsted for our Early Years provision – the highest possible grades – and as being fully compliant with all of our regulatory obligations.

My profound thanks must go to my colleagues and, indeed, everyone across the school community, for making this so every day, whoever happens to visit!’
