Important LBP Meeting Tomorrow Focusing On Digital Marketing & Lytham Loyalty Card

Lytham Business Partnership (LBP) is presenting a special open meeting tomorrow (Wednesday 19 April) at 5.30 p.m. in The Assembly Rooms on Dicconson Terrace, Lytham.

This meeting provides a great opportunity for businesses to extend their understanding, knowledge and skills in two important areas – contemporary digital promotion and the new funded Lytham Loyalty Card

On this focussed evening, the Partnership are delighted to welcome Katrina Copsley and Karen Clydesdale from Reach (Lancs.Live/Liverpool Echo/MEN) –  who jointly have great expertise centred upon the digital marketing landscape.

Suzanne Taylor, Chair of Lytham Business Partnership, extends this warm invitation to attend, ‘ You don’t need to be an expert already, all you need is a business that you want to promote! Harnessing the opportunities of online promotion is key to building a thriving business here in Lytham, collectively and individually. We will take a FREE dive into the latest trends, strategies, and best practices that can help your business thrive in the digital realm.

Karen and Katrina will share valuable insights on how to leverage digital marketing channels such as social media, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, and more, to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and boost your bottom line.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions, and gain actionable tips and tactics that you can implement right away to enhance your online presence and achieve your business goals.

The meeting will also share a wonderful opportunity for business to find out more about the #LoveLytham Loyalty Card Scheme.

10,000 printed cards will be made available across businesses who are joining in, along with franking stamps for all Lytham businesses, and flyers to promote the initiative. (Participating businesses who sign up for their free starter packs between now and 15th May can be named on the initial flyer.)

The initiative will be funded from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund until March 2025, enabling LBP  to set up the mechanics to run 7 quarterly draws.

Customers simply get one of the 16 boxes on their card franked at each visit to any participating Lytham business (for a minimum transaction spend of £5).

When the card is full, it can be handed in at any one of several designated businesses, ready to go into the next quarterly prize draw. Customers can have more than one entry into each prize draw, but strictly only one stamp per transaction, regardless of value above the £5 or above qualifying spend.

The Live Draws themselves on social media will provide a platform for promoting Lytham, the scheme, the host for the draw, and the sponsor.

This initiative, working with Fylde Council, is a great example of how digital promotion can be harnessed to drive footfall back to the high street.

Other than communicating the scheme to staff and promoting it to customers, participation costs nothing for each Lytham business and will help drive repeat custom and the shop locally habit.

Sponsorship of one of the quarterly prize draws is £275 (which covers the prize values).
