St Anne’s Carnival Invites Entries For A Special Lego Competition

The 2023 St. Anne’s Carnival is inviting entries from youngsters for its special Lego competition, which is this year inspired by the Carnival’s SEASIDE theme. There are two categories for entrants – one for up to 8 years – the other for 8 -16 year olds.

Here is a summary of the rules:

  • Entries for this special Lego competition should be a maximum 30 cm (12”) width/length/height.
  • Duplo can be used if preferred for the under 8yrs category.
  • All designs must be form the entrant’s own imagination and not from a kit.
  • Entries should be labelled clearly with name and age, and given a title.
  • One entry per child.
  • All competition entries are to be brought to the competition’s tent on the morning of the Carnival Parade on Saturday 8th July, between 9a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
  • The Carnival Committee is happy to continue to display mounted artwork in our tents into the afternoon to 4:00 p.m. at which time they must be collected. No responsibility for uncollected work can then be taken.

The Committee can’t wait to see all of the Lego creations.
