The photograph below was taken at 6.57 a.m. this morning (Sunday 11th June) from an area cleared late the previous night.

A Fylde Council spokesperson said,  ‘Our amazing staff and volunteers were out from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday – as they will today (Sunday) covering as much land as possible, with shifts in place for emptying bins for hotspot areas.’

The message from the spokesperson is, ‘Please help us to share this message to stop the littering and if bins are full – take your rubbish home and dispose of it safely!!!

Please take it, don’t leave it.’
