‘Step Back In Time’ As St Anne’s Music Festival Concludes Today

You can step back in time today as the free St Anne’s Music Festival in Ashton Gardens concludes today (Bank Holiday Monday 28th August) with a Bit Pop/ Sixties theme/Retro.  Visitors need get to the Gardens early as the festival ends today at 6.00 p.m.

The first-rate headliners Flux take to the main stage at 4.45 p.m. covering well-known artists such as Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Motown and Queen.  And watch out for the brilliant Beatles and Merseybeat band Made In Liverpool during the afternoon. The full programme of bands on the two stages is shown in the featured posters.

The festival has enjoyed a truly successful weekend, with large crowds each day not only enjoying the music but also the family attractions, food outlets and fairground. The free event has been organised by St Anne’s Town Council’s Community and Neighbourhood (CAN) team.
