Storm Jocelyn Set To Hit Lytham St. Anne’s Tomorrow & Wednesday

Storm Jocelyn is set to hit the Fylde Coast on Tuesday night (23rd January) and Wednesday (24th January), following Storm Isha bringing more strong winds, ferocious gusts and heavy rain.

The Met Office has today (Monday 22nd January) warned of a strong jet stream pushing a large-scale, low-pressure system from the Atlantic bringing wet and windy weather for Tuesday night and into Wednesday for much of the northern half of the country.

Meteorologists say that this is the UKs most active storm season since records began. Storm Jocelyn will be the tenth named storm in five months and only the second time in a UK storm season that the letter J has been reached in the alphabet.
