A Fylde beauty, hair salon and aesthetic clinic has undergone an entire rebrand during the COVID-19 pandemic and celebrated the launch of ‘Ultimate Professional’ this weekend.
Local TV personality Charlotte Dawson cut the ribbon with owner, Rhianna Frend, and officially declared Ultimate Professional re-open for business.
Rhianna, who has built up an extensive client base in her 15 years within the beauty industry, said that she used lockdown productively and decided to undergo a full business revamp and rebrand from NB Professional to ‘Ultimate Professional.’
Rhianna has also developed comprehensive re-opening plans for the business located on Clifton Drive in St Anne’s, which puts customer safety at the top of the list and is leading the 24-strong team through new COVID-19 protocols, as well as investing in treatments that are new to the Fylde Coast.
Rhianna, of Lytham, said: “After being closed for five months it feels so amazing to be back in business and doing what we do best. Lockdown has been a challenging and uncertain time, but I remained positive and used it as an opportunity to recharge and reflect, and put plans in place for when we were allowed to re-open safely.
“We have an amazing team and a very loyal client base and so their safety has always been our number one priority. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to put protective measures in place, while ensuring we’re able to continue the high level of service our clients expect.
“Since we first opened our doors in 2016, we’ve always been innovative and we pride ourselves on being an emporium of specialists under one roof offering a variety of treatments, from microblading, to laser skincare.
“We also operate an internationally renowned Training Academy, and have earned a reputation as industry leaders in the beauty and therapies industry. Working in the beauty industry I know it’s crucial to change with the times – now more than ever with COVID.”
The transition to ‘Ultimate Professional’ marks a number of exciting new offerings for clients, including a collaboration with leading aesthetics doctors Martin and Hanna Kinsella, who are regulars on the TV show The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
The husband and wife duo will be hosting monthly drop-in clinics at Ultimate Professional starting on Saturday 3rd October, offering a range of anti-ageing treatments, from botox and fillers through to non-surgical facelifts.
Dr Martin Kinsella, who is one of the most sought-after doctors in the cosmetic industry, said: “Our client base is predominantly in Cheshire and London, and so we’re looking forward to bring our experience, expertise and pioneering treatments to the Fylde Coast.”
Rhianna added: “So many people attempted cutting their hair or at-home manicures over lockdown, but the response we’ve had since re-opening is that people have missed that bit of luxury, and the normality of getting their hair and nails done, and are glad to be back and being pampered safely.
“I’m so excited that our doors are finally re-open to welcome our customers back and I’m feeling optimistic about the future of Ultimate Professional.”
Charlotte Dawson, who is a regular at the salon with stylists Sam Giffen, former Big Brother contestant and sisters Amy and Joanna Johnson, who is a Miss Universe Great Britain finalist, said: “I felt really safe and comfortable with all the COVID-safe measures in place and after weeks of patiently waiting, it felt fabulous to get a big curly blow dry…I’ve definitely got post-lockdown hair happiness now!”
