A new Fylde Rural Task Force has been put together to target the issues that matter most to the rural communities across Fylde. These issues includes:
🌳 Rural crime
🐰 Wildlife crime
🏛️ Heritage crime
The team (photograph below) includes a Sergeant and six police officers who’ll provide extra resources to target, disrupt and address crime in the Fylde’s rural communities.
The featured headline photographs include PC Georgia, pictured when she received a report of a sheep that was making its way down a rural road! She was quick to act and managed to retrieve the sheep in good timing. Another priority for the team is heritage crime, so a visit to Fylde’s only Grade 1 listed building Lytham Hall was organised, where there was engagement with the public and a tour of the historic building.
