Watch out for a special flying display from the Polish Heritage Flight Hawker Hurricane G-HURI during the Lytham 40s Weekend which takes place on  Saturday 19th August and Sunday 20th August 2023 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day). Once again Lytham will re-live the 1940s wartime era with two days of forties singing, dancing, weapons displays, historic vehicles, military charities, vintage traders and so much more…

A Spokesperson for the Polish Heritage Flight has shared this news:  ‘For anyone who missed us this weekend at Blackpool Airshow we’ll still be in the North West this week and will be doing a full flying display (weather pending) in Hawker Hurricane G-HURI at the fantastic Lytham 1940s Wartime Weekend on both Saturday and Sunday at roughly 2 p.m.

All being well we’ll be based out of Blackpool airport and will have plenty of chances for people to get up close and see the aircraft at some point.’
