This coming Sunday’s vintage bus display and running day based at Lytham Hall has been cancelled. A selection of vintage buses was scheduled to be on display at the Hall from the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust fleet together with lots of guest vehicles. A free bus service from the Hall to St Anne’s via Lytham was also planned on Sunday (6th August)

Peter Anthony, General Manager of Lytham Hall, told Lytham St. Anne’s News, ‘We are in negotiations to bring this event back in the Spring. Lytham Hall is very diappointed that this event is being cancelled.’

The Lytham Hall facebook page added, ‘Unfortunately the non-stop rain will not do the buses or our lawns any good at all! Apologies to anyone who has made any special arrangements to come to this.’
