The Magical Sound Of Brass Returns To St. Anne’s – This Weekend’s Timetable Of Bands Is Here

There’s a cordial invitation to residents and visitors to enjoy the magical sound of a brass band in the 2023 Brass Band Festival involving Lancashire bands in the Bandstand on the Promenade adjacent to St Anne’s Pier this weekend.

Organised by the Lancashire Youth Brass Band / Lancashire Music Service this promises to be a great event with not only brass bands but also wind bands and jazz bands, with many of the bands made up of school age children.

As well as enjoying the bands there will also be a series of fun and family friendly activities to give people the opportunity to try a brass instrument and find out more about musical opportunities in Lancashire.
