The St Anne’s Parish Church Festival of Christmas Trees Returns Next Week

The St Anne’s Parish Church Festival of Christmas Trees 2023 takes place from Saturday 9th December to Saturday 16th December from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. each afternoon.  There will be over twenty trees on display, sponsored by members of the congregation and by many local organisations, and each tree will be dedicated to a charity – local, national or international. The Church pews will also be decorated with wreaths, dedicated to the memory of loved ones.

Admission is free and a warm welcome awaits visitors who are invited to browse the stalls and soak up the festive atmosphere. Among the attractions will be:

  • Refreshments, including tea, coffee and mince pies
  • Memorial Trees
  • Cake Stall
  • Craft Stall
  • Choc-a-bola
  • Bottle Stall
  • Prize Quiz
  • Grand Draw (with a first prize of £150)

During the festival there will be two concerts. On Saturday 9th December, at 7 p.m. the Church will be hosting the Lytham Community Choir. Tickets cost £10 and will include refreshments; there is no charge for children under 18.

To end the week, on Saturday 16th December, at 7 p.m. in the Church, there will be a concert of Christmas music, given by the Lidun Singers, under the leadership of Alistair MacKenzie. Again tickets cost £10, including refreshments, with no charge for children under £18.
