There will be disruption and delays around Common Edge Road & School Road over this coming weekend and next weekend.
The delays will be caused by the necessary road works around the junction of Common Edge Road and School Road. This will require traffic management in the way of four-way temporary traffic lights which will take the place of the current lights at the junction.
Four-way traffic lights by School Road/Common Edge Road will be in place on these days and at these times:
- Saturday 2 December (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
- Sunday 3 December (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)
- Saturday 9 December (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
- Sunday 10 December (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)
These road works will help prepare for the new access road connecting Amy Johnson Way with Common Edge Road. The temporary traffic lights will be needed to ensure safe working practices.
