Local Businesses To Create A Fabulous Festive Trail Around Lytham – Invitation To Help Host This Family Fun Initiative

Lytham Business Partnership is asking local  businesses , ‘Could your window provide a “hiding” place for some locally originated characters this festive season?’

The Partnership is looking for additional local businesses to take part in a family fun festive trail around the shops, from Park Street, around Market Square, along Clifton Street and Station Road, all the way to Park View Playing Fields. It can detour to Bath Street, Henry Street – basically anywhere there can be a host window.

This initiative is aimed at encouraging footfall around our shops, cafes and restaurants to remind locals all the wonderful things we have on offer here in Lytham and at the same time providing some light hearted, free fun for families from Thursday 1st December.

To take part, all you need do is choose which of the festive designs you would like to “host” (you could have more than one) and the trail quiz will prompt those on the “Bear Hunt” to discover who is hiding in your window. There will be prizes and also a colouring competition for the children, too.

Want to join in the Bear Hunt?  For more information simply contact the Lytham Business Partnership.

Below are some of the characters who will be hiding.  Can you spot Stan the Snowman, The Gang of Four and the QR Parcel? Any of these designs could feature as peelable window art or as a bespoke, painted illustration with embellishments perhaps to reflect your business. Alternatively, any of the characters can be bespoke painted to suit your premises by a local artist. Jess Winter. For example, the character might be surrounded by flowers, or they could have a speech bubble with a special shop message.

The Lytham Business Partnership is also asking, ‘Could we display the colouring competition entries in your window?’ The Partnership will be collating prizes for the Bear Hunt entries and the colouring competition (gift vouchers or prizes welcomed), and will be putting together the Trail Quiz and down-loadable colouring sheets.
