Lytham St.Anne’s Garden Centre Blossoms and Blooms At The Former Trebaron Outlet

British Garden Centres (BGC) have proudly announced the opening of their 60th garden centre on the B5261 to Blackpool. just a few miles north of Lytham. The long-established Trebaron Garden Centre will now, as with all the centres in the group, carry a local name – Lytham St Anne’s Garden Centre.

Phillippa Stubbs, Director of BGC South said, ‘This is a landmark day for us all. We have known the Withers family for many years and for their centre to be the 60th to join the British Garden Centres family is very special. Over the last few years, we have successfully grown our business in the north west. Adding Lytham St Anne’s to the family gives us even more opportunities to serve the local gardeners. We are looking forward to working with the team to develop the business further and build on its heritage.’

Trebaron Garden Centre has certainly developed over the last 40 years into a popular garden centre and bistro. Having started life as a Tomato Nursery, the site has evolved over the years, and this looks set to continue with BGC investment.

Speaking of the sale, Andy Withers – son of the founder – said, ‘We, at Trebaron, are delighted that the British Garden Centre group is taking over the business. BGC shares our values of service to the local community, and I am confident the centre will continue to flourish in the future.’

You can find the Lytham St Anne’s Garden Centre just 2 miles north of Lytham town centre, 5 minutes from the M55 and 5 miles from the heart of Blackpool.

To work alongside the existing team, the Lytham St. Anne’s Garden Centre will now be recruiting a number of additional colleagues.  If you are interested go to www.britishgardencentres.com where full details will be found. 2. This is our local garden centre with numerous visits over the years, always been happy with the service and products but was surprised yesterday when they couldn’t accept our national garden centre gift voucher.
